George F. Kerr was an American illustrator and comic book artist. He was an artist for American Weekly for 30 years, and illustrated many juvenile books from 1906 onwards. As a syndicated artist, he illustrated various classic stories for daily publication through King Features Syndicate in the 1920s. He was on the staff of the New York Journal in the 1940s and did the cartoons for the editorials by Arthur Brisbane. |
