Jim Mahfood was born in St. Louis and studied art at the Kansas City Art Institute. There he self-published 'Girlscouts' (later renamed 'Grrlscouts') and 'Cosmic Toast'. Immediately after graduating, his career in comics took off with 'Generation X Underground Special' and 'Clerks (The Comic Book)', published by Marvel. In 2002, he has done work on 'Spider-Man' comics. |
